Services at Home for the Frail Elderly and Physically Disabled

Timiskaming Home Support provides non-medical services to the people of Timiskaming to enable them to remain at home by supporting their independence and well-being.

Our Values: Timiskaming Home Support believes...

people have the right to make their own decisions and direct their own care
people have the right to confidentiality and privacy
it is desirable for people’s independence and well-being to be supported in their homes and communities
appropriately supported volunteers and non-medical personnel have a significant role to play in the efficient and effective delivery of home support services
that our Agency has an important role play in the creation and maintenance of a continuum of long-term care services
in the value of community input to ensure that our services are responsive to client need and of high quality
in the equitable distribution of services throughout the District
in the provision of services based on a demonstrated need
